Well I just got back from Circuit City where I bought the Sony 60"
projection TV at a cost of $3456! But wait... they had a promotion if you
bought the TV AND upgraded your cable to HD, AND bought an installation
package from Firedog for 399.99 THEN you got a FREE ($800 value) Onkyo
surround sound home theater package. So after all this "free" stuff, and
special promotions, extended warrantees, TV stands, necessary cables, surge
protectors, delivery and set-up charges plus $435.58 sales tax I walked out
the door almost $6000 poorer!

How come all that free promotional stuff costs so much? LOL. Anyway they are
coming to install it Friday and I am looking forward to it. I also gotta get
a new cable box from Time Warner and they add all these features for only an
extra $1.99/ month so I said why not?

Take care

Remember the days when you drove to the local appliance store in your
station wagon, picked out a TV, had the salesman help you load it into
the wagon, drove home, took it out of the box, set it on the stand,
and turned it on?
