| If grape tomatoes are the same as cherry tomatoes, I would eat them on a
| shish-kabob. One or two. I just don't like a lot of grilled tomato.
Now
| hunks of raw tomatoes on salads are delish. But also in moderation.

Grape tomatoes (the size of -- you guessed it! a grape) are smaller,
sweeter, and generally more flavorful than cherry tomatoes and they seem
to
have grown hugely in popularity in recent years, at least around here.
Have
you not seen them at the store? They are pkgd in clear plastic boxes and
found with the other varieties in produce sections. Some grape toms might
be
a little too small for shish-kabobing, but they are perfect for snacking
on
and for salads. (Hmm, I seem to know way too much about tomatoes, but
they
are just about my fave food. Sliced (homegrown) tomato sandwiches, dash of
salt, with a touch of Miracle Whip are one of my usual lunches :)

I don't recall ever seeing them, but I will look when next I go shopping.
