Acetone and hydrogen peroxide in 30% concentration
have been mentioned in the press..

That's it. And the article that I read pointed out that in small
quantities, you could drink either of these and live, which means that the
"passenger has to taste it" test is pretty meaningless.
I am a chemist and believe me you could not drink even a small amount of 30%
hydrogen peroxide without ill effect. Acetone would be pretty nasty as well
as have a characteristic noticeable odor. Take care
