I'm reading Anyplace I Hang My Hat at work. I really like Susan Isaacs but
this one is bugging me a bit; the main character keeps misunderstanding
people's actions, realizes it and then promptly does it again in the next
sentence. I wish she'd just slap herself upside the head and get over it.

At home, it's Consigned to Death. I've read a bunch of good things about
this, so I'm sorry I'm not enjoying it more. I think it's me, not the book, to
be honest. I'm a bit of a grammar freak (okay, understatement) and in
spots it reads as if Yoda wrote it. I know I shouldn't let it bug me but it
does.
