I doubt Carol is writing them. Mary Higgins Clark is one of the nicest and
most stand up ladies in the business and I really doubt she would do that.
Starting rumors like this with no foundation other than a feeling you got
while reading is bad news and bad form.

I've read a couple of books by MHC and one by CHC. I didn't care to
read any more but I don't recall thinking CHC was a terrible writer. If
the collaborated on some books it might be interesting; I'm pretty sure
they would be open about it.
