Same notation with another film, also directed by John Sayles--"Lone

Watched this tonight. Yes, I had seen it some years ago. It was very
enjoyable and well worth a second viewing. Kris Kristopherson makes a
very believable "bad guy," doesn't he?

When I made the comment that I cannot find much worth viewing nowadays
on the video shelves, I certainly didn't mean that there have been no
good movies made within the last 10, 20, or 30 years; or even that
there are no movies worth seeing being made today. I fairly enjoyed
"Matchstick Men" with Nicholas Cage. It wasn't a great movie by any
means, but it was entertaining for me, especially since I usually like
to see Cage when he's not in a high-speed thriller-diller. I thought
"Map of the World" with Sigourney Weaver and David Strathairn, was
excellent. I also enjoyed "Delores Claiborne," and especially "Places
in the Heart." But movies that have a quality story, quality
acting/directing, and something to tell worth the telling, are scant
few lately - or so I think.
