I went and looked and you're right. There are a couple of people there
who post prolifically and are profane and rude. There are also a
couple of folks with huge superiority complexes.

Contrast that with RAM, where a beginning author can mention a modest
success without having an established author rip on you. I've always
found it especially curious when people who have attained some success
seem to fear anyone else having success, too. I'm much more impressed
with those who try to help along those coming behind. I know that I do
that in my primary profession, and in my personal life, and I've been
the lucky recipient and giver of that in my writing life.

All that just to say that RAM is a pretty nice group. I only know of
two others that I enjoy or feel able to post without fear of an
undeserved flaming [if I deserve one, that's another story--fire away!].
