desirable. It isn't causing the sibilance distortion problem.

If you have reasonable level from the tram with good midrange sound,
then the Tram is wired OK. The 100 series just doesn't like the
sibilance peakiness of the Tram.

mention.  Please let me know if this is a potential contributor to the
issue.  I made my own rx cables and wired them this way:  On the 1/8th
inch mini red is going to tip and black is going to sleeve.  White is
unused.  On the xlr red goes to pin two and one and three are jumpered
to black.  Might be a little fuzzy on this as I don't have them in
front of me but you get the idea.  I get more gain from the rx's  but
the reason I initially did it this way was because I couldn't find the
correct value resistor and someone at Location Sound gave me this
configuration.  When I first made this bundle for the four rx's I was
using Countryman B6s under clothes and didn't have an issue at all
with sibilance.  So it seems that this wiring scheme isn't having an
impact on the sibilance issue?

Thanks for the reply! I figured you just didn't see my additional
questions. I'll go ahead and clip the jumper to pin 3 since it isn't
necessary. I did turn down the transmitters (from about 2 o'clock to
about 11 or 12 o'clock) and it seemed to help a bit. I just didn't
want to lose too much modulation. I still have plenty of gain at the
receiver and on the mixer so that's all good. Since production
probably won't replace all of their mics or for that matter their tx's
and rx's I'll have to roll with what I've got. Still beats the pants
off of a Sennheiser G2 system IMHO.
