Re: Unveiling of ZAX-NET at the Local 695 Seminar

I agree wholeheartedly. Any topic that is production sound related is,
and should be, fair game. As long as everyone keeps their
affiliations, sales or otherwise, up front then we can all make our
own decisions. Theoretically we're all intelligent adults. Well, maybe
not all of us.

ZAX

| I for one would like to personally invite ALL of the manufactures of

from

Hear! Hear!  If we can't read about new products, can't hear from equipment
manufacturers, and can't hear from people who use the new tools the
manufacturers develop, this will be a far less useful and less informative
news group.  Of course, all of this has been said before and seemingly
agreed to by almost everyone except for the one or two people who have a
contrary opinion and who seem to think that everyone but themselves is
unable to differentiate between sales hype and informed opinion.
Unfortunately, Roberto excites people to respond to his obsessive drivel.
That starts the conversation again in which we all, myself included, say
what we've said before.  The excitement dies down after a few dozen posts
only to crop up again a few weeks later.  I suspect that Roberto's postings
have chased dozens of people away from this news group, certainly more than
any other poster talking about his or her experiences with new equipment.
Fortunately, I don't see Mr. R's posts any more unless they are a part of a
post from a contributor I value.
