Other hardware differences are significant, however: The hard
drive has been replaced by a CF slot, so the Fusion is lighter weight.
The internal optical drive has been replaced by a second CF slot, so
it is significantly thinner (top to bottom) and weight is further
reduced. Other dimensions are the same.
Also, interesting for those who bought a 5.8 might be the price
difference between a Fusion and a 5.8.
13000 versus 8000.
10000 for complete configuration
10500 with all what 5/8 comes with
That's 5000 for 2 tracks, an Eq/comp software update, a HD and a
much less as 5.8 comes with hard disk caddy with cost 500 , dvd ram burner ,
in /out a analog and digital cables and power supply ( around 1200-1300usd
worth )
the fusion come naked
so 1500-1800 usd for additional 2 tracks and some other benefits
peanuts if you compare it to cantar batteries prices for idiots :-)
burner difference. Maybe it's me, but doesn't this look like some
serious price drop, to compete with the SD and Fostex models ?
its you :-)
