How much current do you need?
You could just use a resistor, and ohms law

This is the method I would try first. Measure the DC resistance of the
relay coil (if it's not marked) and use 13 or 14v (the voltage from the
alternator when running will be higher than the nominal battery voltage)
to work out the value and wattage of a required series resistor. I doubt
that the voltage is all that critical just so long as there is enough
current to reliably operate the relay.

Just make the series R 3 times the relay resistance
