Worked fine with me few month ago (before the vista update).
It is a nice tool.
I just wish a player like that would be somehow included in BWFwidget Pro...
(hoping hoping... :-)

I've downloaded the demo but even the demo needs a key. I sent an email
requesting one. But no-one has responded.
Hard to tell what the product is like from a demo that won't even let you
run even a crippled version without a key.
Has anyone on RAMPS gotten the demo to work?

Keith Sherry just emailed me and let me know he has a new version of
Prism X released which now includes support for Vista with SP1. Working
fine for me and a welcome addition to my toolset.

Audition surround and polyphonic Wave files using any sound card with
PrismX. Designed as an inexpensive tool to aid those recording on Hard
Disk on location, auditioning files in transfer suites, or selecting
alternative takes in editorial, PrismX has all the tools you need to
audition Wave, Broadcast Wave and AIFF files from mono or stereo - up
mixer.10 channels wide - with the utmost confidence. Take a look at the
screendump below to check out the features on this powerful little
premixed
Here's a better list of the feature set:
. 32bit, 10 into 2 mixer plays back up to 10 channels of polyphonic WAV,
BWF or AIFF file - up to 32 bits deep.
. Excellent at playing files from location recorders.
. Excellent at playing back polyphonic stems - up to 10 monos for
setsstems, or 5.1 mix stems etc. up to 10 channels wide - through a stereo
output for QC purposes.
. Requires only the cheapest of sound cards to operate. DSP is done off
the card and streamed directly from media so cheap and cheerful PC with
motherboard sound card is ideal.
. Timecode Display.
. Timecode Locate.
. Level, Pan, Mute, Solo, Phase and MS decode buttons per channel.
. Channel pairs can be linked (faders ganged).
. Switchable B-Format (WXYZ) Decoder.
. Up to 5 x MS Decoders.
. Acts on iXML Track_Function information, so that panning, channel
linking (for stereo pairs), MS or B-Format decoding is switched
automatically when an iXML enriched file is encountered. Each channel
scribble strip can also display the name of that channel - Boom, Mix L,
Mix R, etc.
. Keycommand sets for commonly used post production transport control
including Nuendo, Protools and Waveframe.
. AutoPlay - PrismX can play as soon as a file is selected.
. Metering can be pre or post fade showing the result of MS or B-Format
decoding.
. Set loop markers to loop a file with.
. Metadata display shows iXML and BEXT data for selected file.
. Store up to 25 of your favourite mixer set ups.
. ..and of course Vista compatible! ;)
