I know I could just get some TA3F to TA5F cables with attenuation
built in, but that doesn't solve the problem of having too little Mic
level input available to the transmitters. It only works as a fix if I
select LIne level as the TA3F output level. I consulted with the
maker of my cables, a major pro location sound reseller and
manufacturer, and they indicated that my cables are built exactly as
all of the other cables, per Sound Devices' specs, that they sell for
this application. They were puzzled as well.
