Hi
I may have a series of documentary style films in Africa coming up.
I'm looking for recommendations for the best gear package for this
work. I'm not really an ENG kind of guy having worked off a cart most
of the time. However, the thought of Africa excites me a lot and
therefore I am all willing... :)
My considerations are
1. Weight and bulk - lightest possible
2. Reliability - no RF issues, no powering issues - no repair shop
within maybe 5000 miles!
A 702T is ruled out by RF issues? No workarounds?
Pluses: No moving parts, drop-tested to 6 feet. Think of all the moving
parts in a Nagra.
