Yes, I see the bext and it shows "fostexPD6".

I changed the start TC HOUR on some files, since the PD6 somehow
applied 00 rather than 04 hours on these files. The metadata shows the
change but not in the Data Grid.

If you change the metadata in the file it won't show up in the grid until
you Re-Load the Grid.


Whether i keep the left side options ticked or not the media player
embedded still searches for the codecs.

This should not happen. Make sure all the options are NOT checked. And make
sure you have Windows Media player 9 or later installed. What version of
Windows are you running?


When i hit edit metadata, it does not show me all the fields that the
PD6 shows when i select show file info in the shift-setup key -
utilities menu.


Your sample file showed all it's metadata and played fine on my machine in
BW-Pro.
Not sure what metadata you are talking about that may be missing. All the
fields are filled in BWF Widget Pro on your test file.
(except there was no note as the field was left blank)

These are 24bit 48kHz RECRUN TC BWF-P files...

I dont have a short file to send you, but i already have a file up on
yousendit, because somehow the particular file was corrupt in my DVD-R

As I stated above. I downloaded your file and it plays fine on my machine.
Maybe you have some problem with the audio drivers for your sound card that
are preventing the program from playing. Make sure you open the Time Code
Window to see when the file is playing..
