Jeff-
I thoughgt that we weren't going to go there<g>. I use a really nice app
called Reaper to do all my playbacks (it has a built-in time code
generator!!) and, of course, Lectro's LecNet for my Venue rack. I have a
little tiny PC made by Averatec that lives full-time on my cart; works f-ing
great! No complaints. I like Take's app (what I have seen) and would use
it. If Take doesn't come up with a PC version, would I buy an Apple so I
could use it? No.

I would buy a PC version THE DAY it came out.

I'm with Doug on this. I'd think that sooner or later someone is going to
make a production sound application for the Windows platform and while
the
market may not be as big as the pro-audio studio type of market it would
still garner pretty damn good sales.
If 90% of the computer users out there are Windows users and there are
these thousands and thousands more software programs available for
Windows and not the Mac, and on and on, WHY isn't there a whole slew
of terrific applications for all the sound people with PC's? So what
if our market is a tiny niche... a tiny piece of 90% is a lot more
than a tiny piece of 5%, no? There must be some other compelling
reasons which Windows users don't want to acknowledge.
