Jimmy of the Jimmybox became a friend of mine after working with him
for a number of weeks. He's a really nice guy who makes a great
product. He is a cameraman/DP. The Jimmy Box is a very well made
light weight box that screws underneath where the shoe goes on a
prosumer type camera, then the shoe gets screwed on to it. It's open
on all sides for easy access. He makes two different boxes. One box
that can hold 2 RX or a box that can hold 1 RX. It can also hold the
hard drive designed to go with the DVX 200. My Zaxcom Stereo RX fit
into the 1 RX JImmybox so that is what I bought. Jimmy brought the
Jimmybox out the first day I worked with him and I was immediately
sold and now own my very own Jimmy Box. It also has a handle that can
attach to the Jimmybox which many camermen find very useful, but it
can be used without it. My Zaxcom link was the first time Jimmy had
worked with one and he loved how light it was.

Definitly check out the jimmybox.
All the cam ops I have worked with that use the toy cams
handheld prefer the receiver on the bottom of the camera.
They also love the additional handle.

I'm about to order a spare just to have it because several
times now I've been asked to sell it to someone and just leave
it on their camera...
Oleg brings up another good point:
Since just about every cable going in or out of the system
is indeed a "specialty" cable, be sure and have at least
one backup for each of them.
I think you will find that you'll get very comfortable
with the Zaxcom system very quickly and wonder
how you ever worked for so long cabled to the camera...
