Why not just play it back from the CD?

Thanks for the reply!
"If they provided you with a track with music on one track and 29.97 NDAll I have is a CD. The "video" will be part of a feature, about a
time code on the second track..."
fictional band so there is no record label or anything. The actors
recorded the CD themselves. But I can do this myself right? I'll send a
mono mix to one channel and 29.97TC generated from the 744 to the other
and make a new CD.
"...use Audacity to change the speed by +0.1% then export the wave fileSounds good.
and put it back into the 744."
"feed the output of the LTC track from the Audio Channel 2 to feed theOK. I guess that's simpler than I had built it up to be in my head. Does
slate. It should be then at 30.00fps on playback."
48.08k come into play anywhere here? I guess I don't need to worry about
that, I mean Audacity is speeding it up for me.
"It sure is a lot easier to use a laptop for playback..."Yeah, it's on my list. Got to pay some other bills first. I'll get by ok I
think. I'm planning to have the lyrics indexed with a-time numbers to make
it easier to get to the spots I need to find. It's a laid back crew
though, and none has ever made a video so I don't think they'll be too
upset if they have to wait for me to cue up. Besides, I suspect the
director will just want to play the whole song out from a couple of angles
and call it a day. Only a small portion of the video will involve lip
sync.
Thanks again for the help.
Any other tips out there?
Dennis
