A makeup artist I work with regularly prefers to use my COS-11's
(thicker cable) for hair mics. She says about the B6- "the bobby pins
won't hold the B6 cable securely"...but I digress, I've never actually
applied either myself.

Flesh colored mics and tape may help hide the RF stuff as well. (by
flesh-colored I mean tape colored to the persons actual skin tones...)

As for hiding the Tx...please remember that CRACK KILLS :)

how do you put a lav in hair and where? I have moleskin and surgical
tape as well.
