Robert,
Your Comment about " Who uses a 3rd Channel" shows your complete lack
of basic understand of audio in the professional world.
I said that when I asked the question. You gonna make that a crime?
If you have a
744 and a 442 Sound devices mixer you can record all 4 tracks
discreetly. And you say "In the world of Deva's and 744 . . . " If your
For chrissakes, learn how to use a contraction. The word is "you're", not
"your".
doing a Reality TV show your running into 90 percent of the time a Beta
SP camera which only has two channels. It is perfectly acceptable to
stack or piggyback more than one item on a channel. I am just curious
what your audio background is and what your budget is to purchase your
gear. It sounds to me from your posts that your budget may be too small
since you think the 302 is very expensive.
I just bought a 744T, a Rode Nt-4, and an Apogee MiniMe. Don't you think
that's enough for one month? I also have an MKH60 and an 816.
Look at the price of a wendt
x5 or Cooper mixer and you will see how cheap it really is. But if you
are really trying to stay cheap you can get a used Shure Fp 31 on Ebay
cheap and torture yourself when your trying to record. We are all here
to help each other but ask intelligent questions
You are very insulting. I have nothing but respect for the kind people who
have helped me here. Apparently, you're not one of them. You don't
understand that I have a specific use which is not what you do. But because
I record music for CD's, the fidelity requirement is equal or greater than
typcial ENG. Because I do this in situations that production sound guys have
to tackle, I came here for advice.
and also don't buy
your sound gear from BH buy it from a real sound store like GothamWhitney, I support my People. You support yours.
Sound or Trew Audio. Yes you may pay alittle more but you will get much
better support and people that can actually answer your sound
questions.
BTW, I have bought equipment from both of the above.
