better not discharge li-io the batteries under the 20%
never discharge batteries befor charge ,the li-ion dont have any memory
effect ,that is only short their life .
dont use over 60-70% maximum power at ones (litium polimer could be run on
over 100%)

Hi Peter,
In general, Li Ions are actually happiest with small discharges and
recharges. There is a fairly elaborate electronic circuit in the
battery to protect it from overcharge (and resultant fire), over
discharge, over voltage, etc. This may not be fine tuned yet. I really
hope iPower gets the wrinkles worked out of the batteries.

I had a similar experience. I just got three 400s and a charger just to
try them out. Great to begin with, then one started playing up. It
would switch straight to 'charged' state when you put it on charge -
and wouldn't come up to full charge even if you left it on. When the
next one started doing the same I sent them back and got replacements.
(still 400's). Thomas Distributing were excellent and replaced batts
and charger - and new batch seems fine so far. I did wonder if my
fairly frequent charging was harmful - I think they prefer a good
discharge before re-charging.
