It was a fine evening for all. Quentin Tarentino was given the Filmaker
Award and gave a nice speech, wherein he said: "in the never ending set
battle between camera and sound, I want to to know that I'm always
sticking up for the side of the sound department...I'm fighting right
there with you..." He's the real deal!

Congratulations to -- Glenn Sanders and Zaxcom, C.A.S."Technical Achievement
Award" for the "Deva Location Hard Disk Recorder".


Peter Kurkand and his the sound team for the C.A.S. "Outstanding
Achievement in Sound Mixing for Motion Pictures" and all the other 42nd
Annual CAS Award Winners.
