In my experience, you gotta deal with each person differently, and even
that will differ from day to day.

I've used a "larger" cellphone holster worn on the belt. I guess
seeing a cellphone on a belt is better than seeing a Tx.

Toolbelts on construction sites can be your friend!

Ankle straps/waist straps usually work well.

Tuck the Tx on the "inside" of the waist (doesn't work too well on
petite women)

Back pocket (black pants to match the cable colour!) or as already
suggested, poke a hole if possible.

Inside the boot.

All of these techniques require the participation of the "on camera
person", as the Tx placement may not always be so comfortable!
