Omar, for what you want to use it for, it's the MK41 for sure. You will need a good suspension/ wind screen/windjammerHola amigos
Hello people, this is my first post to this list. I just have joined one minute ago. I'm Omar pareja, young sound recordist/ designer from Lima, Peru
I've been working in a film/sound studio here, and after saving some money,I want to buy my first professional mic.. I decided for Schoeps modular system since this are the mics that we use here and they sound great..
I have read and now I know about some amplifiers CMC and capsules MK, but still I didn't decide about which capsule should I start with..
should I start with the classic MK4 cardioid, or should I buy KM41 hyper cardioid..???
I should say that this mic will be used mostly as boom mic in location recording in and out doors for short films and some commercial spots....
I'm still in doubt about that, maybe you guys. with your expericnce may give me some good advice... That I will really appreciate
saludos

or equivalent as well. The MK4 is seriously good, but in most instances with frame sizes varying , you'll need the pull of the MK41 a lot of the time.
