doc/reality over-shoulder kits

Dear friends,

I need to recommend an audio bag package for a doc/reality equipment
purchase. Is wireless-to-camera considered a requirement nowadays for
all levels, or just for big-budget packages? Is recording double system
necessary as a backup for dropouts on the wireless link, and what's
recommended for the secondary recorder? How do you monitor what makes
it to the camera, or do you trust the shooter and/or your backup?

And then, how do you handle a second camera? Jam TC and turn on the
camera mic?

Your recommendations for gear are appreciated. I'll probably need to
present both an "adequate" package, and a nicer one.

Thank you, John F.
