Understood, but it makes it pretty tough for those of us trying to
carve livings with clean audio signals. In my case, I was working with
an all-international crew (except for me), and trying to explain our
state of national security and associated concerns about terror threats
in a post 9/11 world is another matter. Not to mention the
all-too-familiar comment, "...I don't want explanations, just
results...", coming from a producer type who wouldn't understand the
technical specifics even if I knew. What's a guy to do?
