I gotta go check those IMDB links to see if the films listed are the
same one I saw on a spring Holiday (around Easter?) way back in the 70's
on a local broadcast TV.
The Monkey King, Pig and a Priest traveling from somewhere to somewhere
with a female Goddess thrown in somewhere along the way- Thats all I recall.

The current musical stage production I saw last summer is very nice
as well (as a spectacle and musically, the story, like a lot of old sagas
is a bit weak).
