"Sex and the City" officially a bigger hit than "The Devil Wears Prada"

Well, now that "Sex and the City" has pretty much run its course, I
can safely say that yes, SATC is an even bigger box office hit than
the chick-flick it's being compared to the most, "The Devil Wears
Prada"
($148M and counting to Prada's $125M domestically, $370M
and counting to Prada's $326M worldwide). For a movie that appeals
almost exclusively to women (opening day polled an *85 percent
female*
audience, the most one-sided demo I've ever seen), $148M is huge.
Even more
amazing is that the show has been canceled for 4 years, so it's not
like it's all that relevant anymore.

Still haven't seen the movie: I've been waiting to hear a guy's
opinion, but no guy I know has seen it (gee, I can't imagine
why ;-) ). Maybe I'll catch it on DVD though.
