You weren't watching the same film then. They made him out to be a
dumb ogre. I just can't stand these fucking leftist Hollywood
writers anymore.

Well, it's not so much the politics, it's the pandering. They probably
have no politics, they just know how deeply Bush is loathed by most
Americans and want to draft off that for cheap laughs.

How do you know "most Americans" loath Bush? There's a big gulf between
disapproval and loathing. Last I checked, the media didn't do a "loathing"
poll.- Hide quoted text -

The depth of the disapproval--historic--and he's not a registrat of
Deeds, but the president. Most Americans think he's doing a bad job:
most Americans think that the country isn't being run right by him.
He's f*cking up the country.

Bush's job approval ratings:http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm

Congress' approval ratings:http://www.pollingreport.com/CongJob.htm

Looks like Congress scores lower than Bush in a number of the polls.
Guess they're (the Dems) doing a lousy job and not running the country
right either.- Hide quoted text -

Want to see George Bush's face in an election ad? Wait for an Obama
ad, with Bush and McCain hugging prominantly depicted. You won't see
him in a McCain ad.

Your comment has what to do with the fact that the Dem-run Congress
has an even lower approval rating than Bush?- Hide quoted text -

DOGFOOD. The DOGS don't like your DOGFOOD.
McCain is running on his Viet Nam POW experience, and all it's doing
is making people contrast his appearance FORTY years and thinking
"Damn, he's OLD!"
Cy Tolliver doing the voiceovers isn't much of a help either:
"But that would be wrong, Al."
