I am Legend, from the novel by the same name by Richard Matheson, has
had two film versions already. Those are The Last man on Earth with
Vincent Price and The Omega Man with Charlton Heston. The new version
stars Will Smith as Robert Neville, apparently the last human being
alive.

I just noticed that somebody seems to have beaten them to the video store
shelves, with a direct to dvd release of something that looks awful, called
"I Am Omega."
