Not Netflix. My theory is that your mailman is screwing you because
you add their workload.
I have talking to lots of people who rent on-line, including Netflix,
Blockbuster and many porn renting sites. Services were all great
until recently that many many people began to rent DVD on-line and
have mailmen deliver them. These are additional works. So DVDs are
sent to other cities and taking up to 5 days to route back. Many
DVDs are "accidentally" damaged during the delivery. Well, mailmen
will do anything to discourage people from making them do extra work.
That is a ridulous opinion. Just jaw-dropping stupid.
Why? Postal carriers are just human beings. They are not immune to evil
behavior. What do you think the phrase "going postal" means?
I think it's a stupid phrase made up by late-night talk show hosts and
shouldn't be taken seriously to describe everyone at the post office.

I totally agree. Working for the USPO is not the cushy job some seem to
think. The carriers are out in the elements, from 100 degrees to zero,
with all sorts of hazards along the way, including their supervisors
(especially if you are a woman). I don't think many of them would
"deliberately" do something to mail. After several times, I'm sure a
complaint would go into the postmaster an that would soon stop. People
are quick to complain but not as quick to compliment.
I notice that Netflix never sends out movies on the weekend, so I
assume they aren't open for business on the weekend. I have been lucky
to get a lot of movies on the first day of their release on DVD and it
sometimes takes one or two days to reach me. There has never been a
serious delay. My daughter (a mail carrier) subscribes to Blockbuster
and I think she has had more delays in the delivery of DVDs than I
have. So it can't just be blamed on Netflix.
