Alan Moore's Genius


In "The Watchmen," he wrote some extremely profound commentary. "Existence
has no pattern, save what we imagine after staring at it for too long.
This world is not shaped by vague metaphysical forces. It has no meaning,
but what we choose to impose." Layer those words onto a central sub-plot
that's overwhelmingly laden with pathos, and you have some very memorable
work. The guy's a friggin' genius.

When Hollywood finally makes "The Watchmen" into a movie, who do you think
they should cast as the curvaceous and Ruebenesque Laurie "Silk Spectre"
Juspeczyk?
