Yet another Jodi Foster movie about how men are either evil, stupid, or
manipulative, where children need to be protected from said men and
rescued by single women who definitely don't need help from anybody,
especially men, who are worthless anyway.
For Pete's sake, Jodi, GET COUNSELING already!
The role was originally written for a man.
Hah! That supports my point. I don't know why it is so hard to believe
that Foster gravitates towards roles with a certain theme. Actions
stars do it. Romantic comedy stars to it. And so on... and so forth.
