Speaking of things I was shocked had been made.

Given Hollywood's insistence on taking those, let's say 'logically
challenged" J-horrors and trying to clean them up and clarify their
narrative lines, I don't see how Pulse can work as a Hollywood movie.
The damn thing is inexplicable even if you've see it three or four
times, which I have.
