Maybe it's a generational thing, or at least the difference of a few
years thing. I'm about Jodie Foster's age and I've always been in her
audience demographic (heck, I'm not even that much of a fan but I know
I'll watching her films when we're both in our eighties) but I remember
Foster before Taxi Driver, and as a bigger star than Anne Hathaway is
now, someone whose main popularity seems to come mostly from pervs who
waited a year or so for Havoc to drip out onto DVD.
