Dukes of Hazzard producers could be charged in Germany

In Germany, it is against the law to draw, create or display a
Swastika because of it's connection to the Nazis.
You can go to jail if you display one.
I'm wondering if the Confederate flag is seen by
them as a similarly offensive symbol, celebrating
a time in history when what is now criminal wasn't
(slavery)? Could the Germans charge the producers
or distributors with a hate crime simply because it
is promoted in the movie as positive, since it's
connection is with the movie's heros?
