Ernest 'Harold' LeBrun formerly of Chelmsford, Korean War vet; 77 TUCSON,
Ariz. Mr. Ernest "Harold" LeBrun, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Chelmsford,
died on Friday, July 27, 2007, after a long battle with cancer, aged 77
years.

A U.S. Veteran of the Air Force Reserves. Mr. LeBrun spent a tour of service
in the United States Air Force in Korea and Japan, during the Korean War.

He was born in Chelmsford, on June 8, 1930, the son of the late Emile J. and
Alice M. (Fraser) LeBrun. He received his education in the Chelmsford
School system, and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School with the Class
of 1949.

Harry was employed by ESSCO of West Concord, Mass., and retired after 30
years of service to the company.

He was a world class drummer, Scout Master of Post 212 Chelmsford, Director
of the American Legion Drum & Bugle Corps of Chelmsford and a member of St.
Anne's Crusaders Drum Corps in Lawrence, the World Champion Lt. Norman
Prince VFW Drum & Bugle Corps, Drill team instructor at St. Jeanne D'Arc in
Lowell, Past Master of the Chelmsford Grange and a member of the Middlesex
North Pomona Grange. In the 70's, he was very active in Chelmsford Royal CB
Club , and their activities including the 4th of July celebrations.

He relocated to Tucson, Arizona in 1995 where he was recognized for his
outstanding volunteer work for the Perimeter Bicycling Association of
America (PBAA), i.e., Tour de Tucson.

Harry loved family gatherings, and frequently entertained family and friends
at his home. Photography, gardening, exploring Arizona, and caring for his
pets, gave him a lot of enjoyment.

Mr. LeBrun is survived by his sisters, Lorraine Ares and her husband, Frank,
Lillian Morrow and her husband, James, all of Chelmsford; his brother,
Ronald LeBrun and his wife, Donna of Coats, N.C. He also leaves his lifelong
friend, Robert Bradbury of Tucson; and a special niece, Jean Gorman, who was
by his side throughout his illness. Uncle Harry will be missed by his many
nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late, Emile A. LeBrun,
Raymond LeBrun, Wilmer "Bill" LeBrun, Lucille Gouveia, and Florence Pitts.

LEBRUN - Friends are invited to graveside services at St. Joseph Cemetery,
Chelmsford on Monday, 10:00 AM. Friends who wish may make Memorial
