Jim, you may wish to keep this thread going with inane comments, but it
would probably be far more effective were you to address the initial
statements.

You made allegations. I asked you to post some form of proof. You've
only responded (so far) with personal attacks on me. Who's laughable
here?

Andy - who *still* likes allowing people to vote.

What have I said that would indicate that I do not share your pleasure in "allowing people to vote?" It appears, from certain news reports, their new system is starting off the way our is currently - corrupt.

Heh. Speaking of corruption, imagine how simpler our system would be if:

o Mail-in ballots were removed from the system.

o Someone really had to be provably absent in order to get an absentee
ballot.

o If you had to provide ID *and* your finger got marked with purple
ink when you voted.

Something tells me that the Democrats would resist those changes.

I recently registered to vote in the state of California, which allows me to be a "perpetual absentee voter," meaning I can sit and consider the issues & candidates in front of my fireplace, & not worry 'bout who's taking my picture outside the polling place. Nice. And if I'm vacationing back "home" in Hawaii, I can still vote. Nice.

Conversely, California won't allow me *not* to belong to a political party. The best I can do is select "decline to state" my party affiliation; and my voter registration card came back "DEC."

For "Don't Even Care".
