How do moderators prevent stalking? There are ways to report abuse here
too.

I think we're talking about the politics of the activity, not society.
Bashing is in the eye of the beholder. The worst bashings over there
are the moderators with their "waste of bandwidth" and other snide
remarks when they close threads.
