<<Receiving his award, Moffat said he owed a great deal to "the two best
things the British have ever given to the world: Sherlock Holmes and Doctor
Who".
Speaking backstage Moffat, who is head writer on Doctor Who and co-creator
of Sherlock, also said he was delighted Andrew Scott had won the best
supporting actor award.
"In the first series he was only Moriarty in the last scene, and he became a
star from the last scene. It takes an extraordinary powerful actor to do
that.">>
Brand focus and PR is great but you can overdo things. Technique and
enthusiasm help and Moffat has some degree of that but subtly and being able
to turn the dial up and down matters as well. Still, not anywhere near as
bad as Steve Ballmer leaping around shouting "Developers! Developers!
Developers!" At least Moffat spared us that performance.
