Maybe you've been to church today, and you've sung God's praises. Now take a look at any of your posts on Usenet. What have you done? You've called people trolls, Nazis, prostitutes, whores, etc. You've abused and cursed people with different opinions to you - religious, sporting, political - anything!

So here's my challenge to you. Think carefully about what James said in chapter 3.

If you still think it's OK to be abusive to everyone, just carry on as always and I'll killfile you permanently. And the Jesus you think is living will weep for another lost soul.

If you have any doubts, check with your pastor. I think James would rather you didn't speak at all if you're going to praise and bless with one breath, then abuse and curse with the next.

Once you've said something - either by speaking it aloud or by typing and pressing the send button - you cannot take it back. So why not think about what you're saying and decide whether it's something that's worth being said. At the moment all you're doing is abusing the gift of speech.

The choice, as always, is yours.

I see you've evaded the question. You can't handle the fact that you, Dave Yadallee, are as UN-Christian as they come.

You do nothing that is Christian. You think mere faith in Jesus will guarantee you a seat in his rocket to Heaven. Not only is that so stupid, but it's an insult to Jesus' intelligence (if he was alive as you claim).
