Hey, just this week he made a post that was like 25 words long with
only one misspelling, and it all made sense. PLUS those who have met him
in person say he's generally fully coherent.

You know people who have met Yads outside usenet?!

Maybe it's only written language he struggles with. The thing is, even
when I have some idea what he's trying to say, there's still no sense to
it...

I think it's generally down to laziness. He wants to be top poster so he
dashes off random thoughts and doesn't give a toss if they make sense or
not. He doesn't care if he's misunderstood. In fact it helps his post
count because it inspires discussion asking him WTF he's on about. He
never answers questions properly because he wants to keep the discussions
going as long as possible so he can increase his post count.

It's a sign of the contempt he holds us in that he can't be bothered to
read his posts before he presses "send". Making sense isn't his objective.
Being top poster is all that matters to him. He's a troll.

He probably doesn't carry this style of random babbling over into real
life because there's no similar target to reach, unless he wants to be
biggest twat in town, - which he probably is already.

You think? Have you seen his blog? It's just as vague, random and
meaningless. Would anyone put stuff like that up on purpose? He can copy and
paste stuff alright, but he doesn't bother checking it for formatting, and
keeps links to dead pages.

Just in case you've never seen it, here's his reviews:

Ironically, one page has the following words of widom:
"I must make certain that I do communicate effectively."
