But you seem to agree that it was influential, so that combined with the
success of Doctor Who is surely enough to justify an OBE.
What about John Nathan-Turner?
Nobody even mentioned him. He didn't write anything. He had 2 shows on his
CV - Dr Who and All Creatures Great And Small. Hardly inspirational...
