I was hanging out with the cool kids in rec.arts.drwho when
Mike Morris got out a spraycan and scrawled the following:
A weird thing happened this week. I started having an argument with
Aggy, for no good reason whatsoever, about a rather uninteresting
topic.
I've been hooked by him on many such occasions - I thought you'd avoided
it for so long by being one of the people sensible enough to ignore him.
Then I had an epiphany, or moment of clarity if you will;
[...]
I recently heard Paul Cornell speak about how he found religion -
apparently, it started during an online argument with some complete
idiot or other, when he realised "I could just forget about it and move
on".
Anyway, shame to see you go - I like reading posts by people who can
argue against common opinion without coming across as a nutter.
