A weird thing happened this week. I started having an argument with
Aggy, for no good reason whatsoever, about a rather uninteresting
topic. Then I had an epiphany, or moment of clarity if you will; I
realised that I don't have to do this; I don't have to spend my time
checking what's going on here, when half of what comes in is spam,
another 48% is moronic, and I have to work this hard to find
discussions about Doctor Who that actually interest me.
So, I'm off. I've no intention doing a "this group is in the toilet"
type rant, I'm just saying a polite farewell to people I've enjoyed
sharing opinions with (there aren't many of you, and you know who you
are). I may pop my head back when the next series airs, but that's
2010 (the year we make contact, apparently) so nothing's certain. My
thoughts on Series 4 will continue to appear on the Doctor Who Ratings
Guide, thoughts on life in general on www.realreview.ie, and I'll
continue on my dysfunctional and purposeless life as grumpily as I
always have.
Goodbye all.
Aw heck, one of the few people who`s posts I still read. I must confess I rarely read much of this group anymore, by the time I delete the troll and gumph posts there`s little left anyway but I can`t seem to shake it!
All the best.
