And The Gods? I doubt it.

And The Gods. They were historical kings of Greece, Phoenicia and Egypt.
Their names are on record from the time they ruled.

Do you believe that Theseus ruled Athens?

Yes. Thesues is an undisputed historical king of Athens.

"Theseus (Greek: Θησεύς) was a legendary king of Athens"

<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theseus>

Do you consider legend and history to be the same?

If so, where are the contemporary records of his reign?

There are Linear B inscriptions contemporary with his reign which name
almost all of the Greek Gods

Irrelevant, unless Theseus is named.

and there are also historical texts and
historical monuments which prove Theseus existed.

Proof, please.

His bones were carried
back to Athens from Scyros by Cimon, son of Miltiades in the 5th century BC.

I have no doubt that *somebody's* bones were carried back. Perhaps
they were really Jehovah III's bones.
