How about Garth Merngui's Darkplace, especially if you like Boosh and IT
Crowd as they all share actors....very funny & odd show. There's always
Knowing Me Knowing You With Alan Partridge and I'm Alan
Partridge...hilarious but he makes me cringe...

Ok. The 4th series has come to an end and its quite awhile before we
get anymore. My family watches pretty much all BBC and ITV
programming. We were huge fans of Only Fools And Horses, Wire In The
Blood, Life On Mars, A Touch Of Frost, Midsomer Murders, Spooks, Ashes
To Ashes(though I think Hunt deserves his own series), etc..
What do you suggest we can watch while waiting. We are watching State
Of Play and The Fixer but we'd love some great suggestions.
In between seasons we`ll have more Torchwood, SJS ( if that`s your bag )
and
a re-imagining of Surviors ( starring Freema ). All made by the Beeb. If
you
like Spooks I believe there`s a spin off coming and the Beeb are also
making
a drama about Merlin.
To be honest I don`t watch much TV...the only programmes I`ve made an
effort
to tune into this year have been Who, Torchwood, Ashes to Ashes, The
Mighty
Boosh and Heroes...plus the odd football match. I`ll catch up with the
final
season of BSG when it comes out on DVD. Can`t think of anything I`m
looking
forward to until the Xmas special!
You don`t mention many comedy shows there. Most of my favourite British
shows have been comedies but I have no idea if we share the same sense of
humour to recommend you anything.
I have ecclectic tastes especially with humor I enjoy Black Adder,
Monty Python,Couplings, Fawlty Towers, Ab Fab,Catherine Tate, Peep
Show, Mitchell and Webb Situation, Big Train, and much much more...And
of course the aforementioned Only Fools And Horses.
