Another childish comedy. All that was missing was Frankie Howard going, Ooh er missus, ye jest, ye jest, you are mocking Francis, nay, nay, and thrice nay, you are mocking Doctor Who. Yes, you are mocking Doctor Who!

There was no need for a homage to Del Boy and Lovely Jubbley and no need for stupid GK Maximus and I Came, I Saw, I Conquered jokes by Donna and the moronic They must be Celtic running gag. Why couldn't they have played it seriously for a change?

Tennant's Doctor 6/10 Not serious enough.
Donna 2/10 Not serious at all.
Scientific Credibility 3/10 for the Volcano. Since when does breathing in volcanic ash turn your limbs to stone and how can your hand function when your forearm is petrified?
Credible story telling 0/10
Lack of Soap 8/10
Supporting Acting 6/10 Ruined by the idiot Monty Pythonesque Del Boy impersonator.
CGI 9/10
Stunts and Cinematography 9/10
Story Arc and Continuity 8/10 So the key word for this season is going to be Shadow Proclamation and disappearing planets.
Sets Locations, Makeup and Costumes 9/10 Let down by the end sequence which was glaringly obviously filmed in Wales and didn't match the Italian background.
