He is. It's a family show but it is MAINLY written for children. Why
do you doubt that?
Perhaps because children only make up around 20% of the audience? Dr Who is
a family show that keeps an eye on the children ie. it won`t feature overt
violent, sexual or graphic scenes. It`s not a children`s show per se...that
would be Sarah Jane Adventure`s which is notably more child friendly in
plot, style and execution. There`s a world of difference between Who and the
usual teatime fare you`d see at 5pm on Children`s telly.
