Doctor Who editors and producers seem to think the logical solution
whenever people think an element of the show has gotten too boring or
overused is to destroy it or blow it up (e.g. the sonic screwdriver,
Gallifrey). So when are they going to blow up Earth, and I don't mean
like in The End of the World but so the Doctor can't travel back to it
(at
least until they bring it back)?
That would ruin their production plan for showing almost all stories on
Earth. Having the Doctor to travel to alien planets would increase
production costs.

(Lack of imagination/laziness/or both?) The guy/gal has made a valid
point...
He's like one of Pavlov's dogs. Certain posts/posters prompt the same
